About
Joshua attended the University of Illinois Chicago where he received a Bachelor's degree in Photography. After working for several years freelancing and as a campus photographer for UIC, he then went on to attend the renowned Public Affairs Reporting program at the University of Illinois Springfield where he received his master's degree in broadcast and multimedia journalism and gained valuable experience covering state politics. He worked as a photojournalist for the USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin at the Green Bay Press-Gazette covering communities in the northeastern part of the state. He left in 2019 to return to his alma mater as a photographer for marketing and communications at the University of Illinois Chicago covering one of the nation's most diverse public research universities. From 2022 to 2024 he had the honor to serve the great people of Chicago as the lead photographer for Mayors Lori Lightfoot and Brandon Johnson. He currently serves as the photographer for Purdue University's College of Agriculture and is available for freelance work in the Chicago and Indianapolis areas.
